1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device so that it can be recognised again on your next visit. This policy also covers comparable technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage and pixels, which we refer to collectively as "cookies".

Cookies are used on www.drag-lab.de to keep the site working, to remember the choices you make and — only where you have agreed — to understand how the site is used.

2. The cookie categories we use

Consent on this website is managed with TermsFeed Cookie Consent 4.2.0, which groups cookies into four categories:

  • Strictly necessary — always active and cannot be switched off. These keep the site secure, hold your session and language selection, and store the record of your own cookie decision (cookie_consent_level).
  • Functionality — convenience and preference features. Our Tawk.to live-chat widget belongs to this category and is only loaded once you have accepted functionality cookies. Granting this category also sets the functionality_storage and personalization_storage signals of Google Consent Mode to "granted".
  • Tracking — measurement and statistics. Granting this category loads Google Analytics 4 and, on the pages where it is enabled, Microsoft Clarity, and sets analytics_storage to "granted".
  • Targeting — advertising and remarketing measurement. Granting this category sets ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization to "granted".
Nothing outside the strictly necessary category is loaded before you make a choice.

3. Third-party services that may set cookies

  • TermsFeed Cookie Consent 4.2.0 — displays the consent banner and the preferences centre, and stores your decision. Category: strictly necessary.
  • Tawk.to (embed.tawk.to, va.tawk.to) — the live-chat widget used to answer product and support questions. Category: functionality. It is only loaded after you have accepted functionality cookies; if you decline them, no chat widget is shown and Tawk.to sets no cookies.
  • Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-6HXYVZ8CMN, loaded through googletagmanager.com — aggregated statistics about how the site is used. Category: tracking. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Microsoft Clarity — anonymous usage analytics (heatmaps and session statistics) used to improve page layout. Category: tracking. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
We do not load any advertising network on this website at present; the targeting category is reserved for future advertising measurement and stays denied until you grant it.

4. Google Consent Mode v2

Every page of this website starts with Google Consent Mode v2 set to denied for ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage, functionality_storage and personalization_storage. Only security_storage is granted by default.

When you save your choice in the cookie banner or the preferences centre, those signals are updated immediately to match the categories you accepted, and they are re-applied on every later page you visit.

5. Changing or withdrawing your consent

You can change your decision at any time, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it:

  • Open Cookie Settings — the same link is available in the footer of every page — and switch individual categories on or off. Your change takes effect at once.
  • You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Deleting our cookies removes the record of your decision, so the consent banner will appear again on your next visit.
  • Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the website from working correctly.
  • If you decline functionality cookies, or withdraw them later, the live chat is not loaded. A service that has already started on the page you are currently viewing is only removed once you reload the page.

6. How long cookies are stored

Some cookies are session cookies and are deleted when you close your browser. Others are persistent and remain on your device until they expire or until you delete them; the record of your consent decision is one of these, so that we do not have to ask you again on every page.

The exact lifetime of each individual cookie is listed in the preferences centre and in the documentation of the provider concerned.

7. Legal basis

Storing and reading non-essential cookies on your device is based on your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis of § 25 (2) TDDDG, because they are required to deliver the service you have requested.

How the personal data collected through these services is processed further is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to this Cookies Policy

We review this policy whenever the services on the website change and reserve the right to update it. The current version is always published on this page together with the date shown above.
